Oil Field Service & Refining Additives

Amspec has been a leader in the production of antimony oxide derivatives for decades. One of the product lines that Amspec has developed is a series of oil field service and refining additives. Our antimony based chemicals include crosslinkers, an acid inhibitor, and a metal passivator. The crosslinkers are used to restore or enhance the productivity or stimulate an oil well or clean oil pipelines. Our acid inhibitor is used to protect wellbore components and treatment equipment. In addition to oil field services, our antimony based metal passivator can be used in the refining process. The cracking process produces coke deposits on the catalyst which include nickel and vanadium. The metal passivator is added to the feed stream to regenerate the catalyst and increase production and catalyst life.
